It is getting really hard to see all the abandoned puppies that we have rescued lately.
We are having floods of them! More have been rescued...
One little pup was rescued after it had been found wandering near our friend's restaurant by the river. She called us and we collected the puppy. She was so tired that almost as soon as our founder, Du Yufeng, laid her on the car seat, she settled down to sleep soundly. Probably the first night's SAFE sleep for a long time...
Then we received a call on Wechat asking us to rescue some puppies who had been seen wandering in a field! Clearly too young to be away from their mother, the heartless owner of the mother dog had abandoned these babies knowing they would die without their mother's love and food! The poor mother dog will miss them!
Lastly we received a call from the owner of a dog beauty salon called 3+1 who asked us to collect a puppy he had rescued from a rubbish bin. The salon owner gave us a box of milk substitute to help with the babies' feeding. Thank you! There are some good people who care about animals but there are also lots who don't.
We are now so over run with puppies that we really need your help to adopt some of our dogs. These puppies won't be ready for a few months yet but if you are in a position to wait and give them a forever home, please read this important information then fill in the contact form below. These babies deserve a second chance. Thank you.
There is an endless amount of feeding going on at the moment. All the rescued puppies are at different stages of development and soon, some of them will be weaned but others who are still being bottle fed need feeding every few hours.
At the moment the puppies are at our founder, Du Yufeng's house so that she can feed them throughout the night but when they are old enough, they will be taken to the nursery at the shelter to join all the other puppies. While they are small they don't take up much room but once they reach adulthood they will need bigger kennels.
We desperately need adopters to come forward to give them forever homes. Obviously they won't be able to fly overseas for a few months but by adopting one of them, you are freeing up space for more rescues, happening every day.
If you aren't in a position to adopt just yet, we also need donations to help with milk substitute and vaccinations. No amount is too small.
