Our founder Du Yufeng received a call to rescue a puppy, abandoned on a mountain side. When she and our volunteer Yang arrived there, they saw a 6 week old, very weak little girl. When Du approached her she stood up and staggered towards Du but only managed a couple of steps before she fell to the floor again. She was so hungry that she started to eat the dirt.
Du took the puppy back to her house to start immediate intravenous fluid and antibiotic treatment and she is such a little fighter that she is getting better every day. Du named her 泥巴 Ní Bā .
We need your help to stop this kind of thing happening. We can provide neutering for people’s dogs and stage education events to teach them about the benefits of sterilizing their pets.
You can donate below to help us achieve these things.
Thank you for your support.
See a video below of Ní Bā's rescue below.
Unfortunately, despite all our efforts, Ní Bā sadly passed away. She was given a traditional Buddhist funeral.
Her death will not be in vain. Donate to help us teach people about animal welfare in our education events.
