We just received a call from a member of the public telling us that a young dog, with what looked like broken legs, was sat at the side of the road. When we eventually found the dog we found a sad sight. The dog was wet through from the rain and her back legs are paralyzed. This young girl has clearly been dragging herself around, wearing the skin off her back feet, for a long time. She was very hungry too, gobbling down the sausage we brought.
Our founder Du Yufeng will care for her at her house. This case is almost identical to the one where Du found a dog dragging her back legs in the rain. Her name was Jian Qiang and she was adopted by a wonderful lady in California who adopted another of our disabled dogs at the same time. You can read her story here.
This little girl will probably live the rest of her life with us because it is extremely hard for disabled dogs to find new homes. Everyone wants the joy of adopting an able bodied dog but disabled dogs can give just as much love. Could you or anyone you know help this girl or any of our other disabled dogs?
Please contact us if you are interested.
Thank you for your support.
The disabled puppy is progressing really well.
She doesn't hold back when it's feeding time and follows the other dogs around.
She has been given the name Jing Yi which means peaceful, sweet and special.
