Bo Ai Animal Protection Centre Of Guangyuan
Our founder, Du Yufeng, was sad to find a box containing 6 puppies, dumped by the road side. She took them back to her home and discovered that all of them had leg deformities. On the advice of our vet, they were all given calcium supplements. 5 of the puppies' conditions improved- except one little boy.
Seeing his determination to live and nothing to fear in life, Du named him 无畏 Wu Wei ( meaning Fearless).
Wu Wei has 3 deformed legs.
There are no wheelchairs available for Wu Wei In Guangyuan. He will need a custom made wheelchair from Chengdu and with 500 other furry children to care for at Bo Ai, money and time is short....but!....
Wu Wei was offered a home with a lady in California who runs a sanctuary for old and disabled dogs. This is wonderful news for Wu Wei. The lady, Danielle also offered to take in another of our disabled fur children so Jian Qiang will be making the journey to California with Wu Wei. We are so happy that they have a new hoe although we will miss them.
For updates on Wu Wei's and Jian Qiang's adoption journey, you can read our blog here.
