Shop Selling Dog Meat, Closed

During the Winter Solstice, our founder Du Yufeng and some of our volunteers went to hand out leaflets and talk to people at an 'on the move' education event in Jialing Market. While there they came across a shop advertising and selling dog meat. Du called the police to go to the shop and inspect any certificates.  The owner of the shop had no quarantine certificates so his shop was closed. Unfortunately there were no live dogs to save so the carcasses and butchered remains were confiscated and handed over to Du.

Du took the carcasses and remains home where they were given a Buddhist funeral and burial.
