Our founder Du Yufeng and some of our volunteers drove to Wangcang market for an educational event. While handing out flyers, they saw a villager handing over a white dog to the owner of a butcher's shop. Du called the Animal Quarantine Department and Industry Bureau who came to inspect the butcher's paperwork. The butcher had none so the white dog and two others were confiscated and handed over to Du. Three dead dogs were also confiscated. One had recently been killed, the other two had been skinned. The Bureau also handed over butchered remains of dogs and some skins. These poor dogs were horrifically tortured and killed in the belief that the meat is tastier with more pain inflicted. The dogs and remains were given traditional Buddhist funerals and were respectfully buried. Share this page on your social media
