Illegal Dog Meat Stall Closed

With the help of the police, our founder Du managed to shut down a stall that was illegally selling dog meat.
She took the opportunity to try to educate the market goers by asking them to refuse to eat dog meat.
​Du and some of our volunteers put up posters in the area and walked up and down the market giving out flyers showing the cruelty involved in the dog meat trade and the risk to the health of people eating the meat.
Sadly it was too late for the dogs that were already killed, butchered and being sold on the stall but Du seized the carcasses and gave the dogs a dignified Buddhist burial.
