Dogs Rescued From Slaughter But Others Not So Lucky

DOGS RESCUED FROM SLAUGHTER
A few weeks ago we told you how our founder Du Yufeng helped volunteers in Chongqing to confront their local government and save 106 dogs from slaughter.
Recently she helped volunteers in Longchang to rescue dogs after they intercepted a truckload of them.
By using her power of attorney to help the volunteers it enables them to use the law to save the dogs.
However it doesn't always work....
Du travelled to Guang'an to help volunteers try to release dogs from a slaughterhouse. But as in a lot of places, corruption is sometimes at play and the volunteers were denied those dogs lives. Instead, the dogs were killed and their poor bodies disposed of by the Agriculture & Rural Dept. While trying to save these dogs, Du was hit by the dog dealers and roughly pushed in to a shed where the dogs were being kept and they closed the door. The police quickly let her out but tensions were heated. Those dogs were needlessly killed but Du and the volunteers are reporting them to a higher department. We want justice for these dogs and will try as hard as we can.
