2 Days of Rescues

NO SCENES OF SLAUGHTER
The Dog Meat Trade is evil but there are chances of survival.
Over the course of 2 days, we have  rescued 9 dogs from imminent death. Unfortunately there were some we couldn't save.
With the help of the police and our local government departments we closed down a butcher's stall at the Shangxiba Market and rescued 2 dogs. Animal lovers in Guangyuan, sick of this disgustingly cruel 'trade' gathered with us to show exactly what we all think. One of the dogs, the Alaskan Malamute you see in the video was returned safely to it's distraught owner. The other, who we took guardianship of, was found to have a fractured pelvis and tested positive for Canine Distemper.
The day after, accompanied by more animal lovers, we stopped the illegal sale of dog meat in the 110 Market and rescued 7 dogs. One of the animal lovers who had accompanied us adopted one of the lucky dogs, the other 6 are under quarantine at our shelter.
We would like to thank the relevant official departments in Guangyuan for their strong support of our work, we have a great relationship with them and they are always ready to help us stop this blight on our city. Thanks also to our army of local supporters who are always ready to bring justice for the animals of Guangyuan.
Lastly, big thanks to all of you because without your donations we couldn't continue to do what we do. Dogs rescued from the Dog Meat Trade are often injured, sick and traumatised and emergency medical care is sometimes needed. Medicines and vet bills are high but your donations help us to pay for these necessities.
