1: Our Old Shelter

The old shelter was situated in an apartment block owned by our founder Du Yufeng. Dogs (and cats) were housed on different levels of the high-rise building. This building is in a residential area and complaints by neighbours about the noise were regular.

In 2013, we received over US$11,000 in donations from generous supporters like you. Our founder, Du Yufeng, wanted to thank you for your kindness. The donations were used to help build a new, bigger shelter for the animals of Bo Ai Animal Protection Centre. This video shows Du going to the bank to confirm receipt of the donations and then thanking you from inside the high rise apartment block.
