Our fight against the dog meat trade is an endless one so when we connect with young people it is very rewarding. One of our student supporters, Joanna, in Singapore has joined forces with us. For her final degree in Graphic Studies she chose a campaign to work on to highlight the dog meat trade. She is calling it 'Don't Eat Dogs' Joanna wants to target the tourists and visitors to China (and other countries where dog meat is offered) who are curious about eating dog meat and who might not know where the meat has been sourced from or the cruelty involved. Many times we hear that dog meat is no different to beef or pork, and while we ourselves eat no meat, we need to show people the torture that the dogs go through and the risks to the eaters' health so that a connection can be made. Each poster is in Mandarin and includes our own slogan- 珍爱生命,保护动物,拒吃猫狗肉! (Cherish life, protect animals, refuse to eat cat and dog meat!) Posters with English translations are given below the Mandarin version below each of Joanna's posters . Joanna has also made a short video clip incorporating the scenarios used in the posters. WARNING: There are no graphic scenes of slaughter, however, the video has strobe like flashing so could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitivity epilepsy. We hope that you will agree, Joanna's posters and video clip are straight to the point about the way in which dogs are stolen or sold from loving homes into the horrific dog meat trade.
We believe that education is the way forward in stopping the killing and eating of companion animals and hope that you share Joanna's work and tell people about this evil trade. Thank you for your support.

We believe the only way to stop the dog and cat meat trade is through education.
