CSAPA Conference & Awards

CSAPA (China Small Animal Protection Association) recently made Du a member. At their conference in Beijing,
​Du gave a speech about how children should be taught early about animal welfare because they are the future.
Du used to be a kindergarten teacher so she knows about the importance of teaching them to be kind to animals and whenever she meets children she encourages them to stroke a dog she has with her, explaining that just like us animals feel fear and pain.
Du was awarded 2 trophies at the conference.
​One for 'Outstanding Animal Protector' and the other for 'Outstanding Shelter Award'.
