a: Adoption Journey Begins

Hei Nui is waiting to go to her new home in Poland.
She was rescued from a slaughterhouse with most of the fur on her body missing. She would have been killed and eaten looking like this. What fur she had left was a lot blacker than it is now so she was given the name Hei Nui (meaning Black Girl). It is all grown back now, a lighter colour and she is a happy girl, soon to be a new resident with her adopter in Poland and her best friend Tu Tu.
Hei Nui's adoption journey began when she, Tu Tu and 2 other dogs (who have been adopted to homes in America and Canada), made the journey with Ms Du to Chengdu. Ms Du made frequent stops on the 300km journey so that Hei Nui and the others could stretch their legs, have some fresh air and a drink of water.
Once in Chengdu they were checked in to a hotel for a couple of nights.
