Miriam has bought Noah a large comfy bed to lie on. He looks such a handsome boy in his bed! He also has toys of his own too which is a luxury to Noah. Any toys that are bought for the dogs at the shelter are few and far between and they must be shared with the others so Noah will really enjoy himself playing with his toys. Unfortunately Noah is not eating much since he arrived in the Netherlands so we hope that once he has settled in to his new home and routine that he will start to eat again properly.

Noah is settling in to his new home very well. Miriam tells us he is very kind and kind also to the other dogs but not the cat. We hope he becomes friends with the cat soon. Miriam says he loves to walk in the woods. He loves the long walks there and he even met a horse for the first time! He has never seen a horse before so he was a little wary. He will experience lots of new things now. When Noah finally reached his new home he found a big comfy bed, a bed just for him. What a lucky boy.
In the shelter, he had to share a bed with some of the other dogs. Now, he can lie down in comfort and spread his body out. Miriam says he is even responding to his new name, Noah. Chinese Rural Dogs are very smart. Noah's flight left on time and soon he was loaded on to the plane, ready to fly over 7000 miles to his new home in the Netherlands. His new mommy Miriam was counting down the minutes until she could meet her Noah. Finally after many hours flying time and a few more to be cleared in Amsterdam, Noah met his new mommy. We are all so excited for them. Now, Noah can live in a country where laws will protect him. We can't wait to see Noah's new life unfold. After meeting his new mommy, Noah had a light meal. He was very hungry after flying for so long. Soon it was time to drive to his new home.
Today is the day that Noah leaves China. He will fly from Beijing to Amsterdam in the Netherlands to meet his new mommy. He will live in a country where animal protection laws exist. It is very exciting for us but how we wish we could tell him what is happening. The Dog Meat Trade nightmare is far behind him now; he will be an ambassador, a survivor to let people know of what is happening in his motherland. Safe journey Noah! Noah is being given lots of love and cuddles by Wang Yan and her family and colleagues. He has been on various walks to explore around the area and is appreciating a change of scenery from Guangyuan. He is a good boy, walking nicely on the lead and when he arrives back he is treated to a tasty supper. Wang Yan spoils him!♥ Noah has visited the pet hospital to have a booster rabies vaccination and to have his health check. The health check is very important because without a certificate, Noah can't leave China but good news! Noah passed his health check and was issued a certificate so he is all ready to fly to his new mommy now. |
