A: Introduction

Jin Niu is approximately 2 years old now but she was a year old when she came to us (see photo below).
She was surrendered by someone who could no longer look after her. She is a Golden Retriever mix and her beautiful golden plume of a tail has been cruelly cut off, leaving her with only a stump.
We don't know if her previous owner did this, although he denied he did. Jin Niu developed a skin condition where she lost some of her fur, probably caused by the stress of being in kennels and her owner leaving her. However bad an owner treats a dog, we are always upset to see the dog still holds a loyalty to someone who could have hurt them...

Jin Niu will start a new chapter of her life soon. Goldens Without Borders in Las Vegas have agreed to adopt her and they already have a family who are interested in having her as their new companion. She will be very happy in a home situation because she doesn't do well in kennels. She is very gentle but can be timid so once she is away from the kennels we think her true personality will shine and she will make someone very happy. 


Jin Niu will be making the journey with another of our Golden Retrievers, Kang Kang, so we are very happy that Sheila, the lady behind Goldens Without Borders, has agreed to take these 2 beautiful girls.
