Star, Dakota and Princess are very lucky. They took a trip in the RV with Susan and her husband to Palm Springs, California. Travelling, sleeping, having breakfast and playing together. A perfect life. Lucky, lucky Star!

Susan and her husband have done so well with Star. She looks like a different dog from when she was at our shelter. There, she was timid but they have brought her out of her shell and she is so happy. It's amazing what a loving home and patience can do for a dog who has had a bad start in life. Star truly is their little star.   Star loves to laze with Dakota and daddy on his bed. She is really a part of this wonderful family and is cherishing every minute. Dakota is a low key girl and as Star grows up we hope she will take heed from Dakota and learn from her. Susan and her husband are so happy they have Star, we are happy too!    And every once in a while Star and Princess get close too... a happy ever after 🐾🐾   When all 3 girls cuddle together, that is the icing on the cake!  Star has had a lot of adventures this year and Christmas was another one to add to her list. She was spoilt and enjoyed spending the day, at home, with her mommy and daddy and Golden sister Dakota and feline sister Princess.   Star loves her toys but she is toy dominant. This dominance would stem from the fact that there are none or very few toys to play with at our shelter so Star is making sure that all the toys she sees are hers. Susan is working on it and making sure that she knows that she cannot be like that.    Star is loving her life in America so much. Her shelter days look to be far behind her as she enjoys a day out at the dog park. Susan says "We love her so much... she is our lucky Star" ❤  Star and her family are still travelling. Now, they are in Michigan, headed to Wyoming and will travel home in a month's time. Star loves to play and is happy chewing one of her many toys.  Star and her fur sisters are getting along really well! Below, Susan captured a photo of Star licking Princess ♥   Susan was also excited to send us this photo of Dakota resting her head on Star. She never saw Dakota get so close to Star, it looks like family bonds are high priority for this trip! We are so happy!  Star is still learning to settle in to a home. She has never had a home where she is part of a family before so she still has the odd naughty spell but Susan and her husband are doing all they can to help Star because they love her so much. They took her shopping with them in a big city and she attracted a lot of attention. People wanted to pet her. Star was placed in a shopping cart and there was no barking or jumping around. She was a good girl in 5 stores! Star is very content with her new family.   Star and Dakota had fun at the dog park and Star had a new experience; daddy took them to the park in a golf buggy. Star's family has finally reached Wyoming. Lots of fun is in store for them all and Star is being a good girl. She is enjoying the change of scenery and has settled in the motor-home as if she has always travelled in one.    |
