Peony was rescued from the Dog Meat Trade in 2013 aged approx 1 year old.
Like every dog we rescue, she was covered in fleas and ticks and was skinny. We gradually built up her weight and confidence and now Peony shows us that she is a very intelligent dog,. We think she has some Collie in her so she would suit an active person or family who enjoy long walks.
She could even be taught some agility and represent the dog meat trade survivors of China!
Peony is an easy going dog but she shouldn't be rehomed with cats and we would prefer her to be rehomed with older children.
Peony would make a wonderful companion. Her skills are not put to good use in the shelter.
