Bo Ai Animal Protection Centre Of Guangyuan
This Poodle was found abandoned outside our shelter doors.
One of the workers at the shelter brought the Poodle to our founder, Du Yufeng's house for assessment and tidy up. This little boy had fractures in both of his front legs and could not stand on them. He needed specialist orthopedic treatment so Du decided to take him to Chengdu when she took Le Le, the Poodle with the broken neck.
X Rays were taken of the Poodle's legs to see how bad the fractures were. The news wasn't good ... both front legs were broken with one of them broken in multiple places. Immediate surgery was decided. After hours of surgery, the vet showed Du the post surgery X Rays.
Du went to visit the little patient and he needed some reassurance from her.
This surgery would not have been possible without your donations. The Poodle is expected to make a good recovery and we will update you on his progress.
The little poodle recovered well from the anaesthetic and is eating the meals he is given.
He is responding well to the pain medicines and is now sharing a cage with Le Le. They are keeping each other company while recovering together from their injuries.
The little black Poodle is back home in Guangyuan at Du's home. He has been given the name Jin Er. He and Le Le, the Poodle with the broken neck, were discharged from the hospital in Chengdu at the same time. Jin Er still has one leg that is healing slowly, the other is well and strong. Both little boys respond well to their names and we hope that in the next few months they will be well enough for adoption. If you are interested in adopting one or both of these cute little boys, please contact us.
Your donations help us to help animals in need.
